Blessings in Motion is a nonprofit durable medical equipment ministry dedicated to helping people regain comfort, confidence, and independence. We collect gently used medical equipment - like wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, and other essentials - and place it into the hands of individuals and families who cannot afford the equipment they need. We believe no one should go without safe, reliable equipment simply because of financial hardship. Through donations, community partnerships, and a heart to serve, we help our neighbors regain independence, one piece of equipment at a time.
Because to us, every donation is more than equipment, it’s a blessing that helps someone keep moving.
About Us
I am a home health physical therapist, and for more than a decade I’ve walked into living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens where people were doing their best to manage life after injury, illness, or surgery. I’ve celebrated progress with patients, and I’ve also felt heartbreak when someone needed something as basic as a walker or wheelchair, but couldn’t access it.Sometimes it was because they didn’t have insurance. Sometimes insurance denied coverage. Sometimes income restrictions left them with no options. And in those moments, I kept thinking: this shouldn’t be the reason someone struggles, falls, or loses independence.Blessings in Motion was created to help close that gap. We collect gently used medical equipment and provide it to individuals and families who can’t afford it. My hope is that every piece of equipment we give becomes more than a donation—it becomes a reminder that someone cares, and that help is still possible.

How to Donate to Blessings in Motion
At Blessings in Motion, we provide gently used durable medical equipment to individuals and families who cannot afford the equipment they need. Many people are denied coverage, don’t have insurance, or simply can’t manage the cost—yet they still need items like wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, and other essentials to live safely and independently.
That’s where you come in. When you donate, you’re not just giving equipment—you’re giving comfort, confidence, and the ability to keep moving forward. We believe donations are more than equipment—they’re blessings.
Donate Equipment
We gladly accept clean, gently used, and safe-to-use items such as wheelchairs, walkers/rollators, canes/crutches, shower chairs/transfer benches, bedside commodes, raised toilet seats, lifts, and other mobility and safety equipment.
